On November 15, 2022, the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation announced Scotland Saturdays as one of fifteen new awardees for a $90K matching grant over the next 3 years. Scotland Saturdays believes that music is the universal language of connection. Music has the ability to cross all of the lines that divide us and create a community bond that is difficult to be broken. Our goal is to use the Levitt AMP Baton Rouge Music Series to build that bridge of connectivity through the exchange of cultural expressions. We are looking to match that ask and more, in order to allow us to build the capacity needed to sustain this movement even further.
